There are two ways of exporting a MySQL database from your account:
- You can export it via the cPanel -> phpMyAdmin tool. You can find information how to do that in our tutorial here.
- You can perform the export by accessing your account via SSH. Our article explains how to use that method.
For databases larger than 50MB it is recommended to use the SSH method as the phpMyAdmin service could time out during the export and result in a corrupted backup file.
