To change the number of files per folder you can view through FTP you must first login to your Dedicated serveras root via SSH.
Next open the /etc/pure-ftpd.conf file with your favorite text editor. In this file locate the following line:
LimitRecursion 10000 8
The first number shows the number of files displayed and the second one shows the maximum subdirectories depth. Edit these values to suit your needs.
All you have to do next is to restart the PureFTP service. You can do this with the command below:
/etc/init.d/pure-ftpd restart
